A founding member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and candidate for the Delta State House of Assembly at the 2015 general election, Hon Goddey Okorodafe has described the leadership qualities of the senator representing Delta Central, Ovie Omo-Agege as amazing.
Okorodafe who contested under the APC for Ughelli North Constituency II, appeal to stakeholders and leaders of the party to bury their hatchet to form a formidable force in winning future elections.
Speaking to newsmen, the APC chieftain disclosed that, Deputy President of the Nigeria Senate, Ovie Omo-Agege has performed beyond expectations at the national Assembly.
He said, “Omo-Agege within the short period of time he has been at the senate, the people of Delta Central, South South are feeling his quality representation.
“In projects delivery, legislative duties, appointments and oversight functions, he has proved to be a grassroot mobilizer and leader, we should stand with him as the leader of the party in, Delta and South South”.
Speaking further on the revalidation of voters registration, Okorodafe held that,the party is on right way to succeed. The re-registration of voters embarked upon by the party will give room for new members who are coming from the opposition parties to join the APC”.
He however described the comment credited to the former national chairman of the Party, Adams Oshiomole as his personal opinion which he is entitled to.
“Oshiomole can say anything but in politics, majority have their way while the minority have their say but in all as leaders they should forget about the past and strategize for the future of the party”.
